I am in love with the entire Fly line. These booties are so amazing. They have a nice wedge heel to give it a really sharp fashion look. I get so many compliments whenever I wear these booties. I think it is the sheer simplicity of the booty that makes them so attractive. I bought them about two years ago from a very chic store, and then I realized they were starting to wear out because I wear them every single day. So I started searching for my backup pair and soon realized the chic store where I bought them decided to replace the FLY line with a shoe line that was not made in China I was so so disappointed, and was going into panic mode for these boots, and that's when I start searching Amazon for these kind of things. I was so excited to find them. I ordered the size 39 and they came so quick. When I first tried them on, I thought they seemed too tight, as compared to the original pair I had owned. The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars was that the overall finish was not as soft and smooth as my first pair, I guess that triggered me to say no problem, I will just order the size 40. Well the size 40 arrived, and they were really huge. I had no problem returning them. Thank you Amazon. The seller and the entire Amazon experience is first rate. I love those fly booties and hope they NEVER stop making them. They are literally like wearing running shoes. So comfy.Quality was amazing !one shoe did feel like it was larger than the other - outside of that super comfortable ?super super comfortable.I expected more from this brand. I'm not sure what all the comfort ravings are about, the interior of this shoe is not really soft or padded. The one genius thing it does have is a slanted wedge made so that the edge of the wedge is under your mid-heel to better support your weight. I first tried one of these in a different style, but it looked quite similar, and felt that the 40 was the best fit for my size 9.5 foot, even though I generally like a lot of room. I knew I was taking a chance because this is sent from the UK, but I thought I had tried it out. The ones that I received were beautifully packed, and LOOKED lovely. I found them to be a bit narrower and shorter than the other one I tried of the same size. Because I don't want to pay to ship them back to the UK, I have had to try to stretch them to fit. They won't be my go-to comfort shoes, that is for sure. The interior is not really made for comfort...kind of bare bones. I could not spend more than about an hour in them at this time. I hope they will soften up. I am trying cushioned insoles, but there is not really room for even half insoles, as its insoles are not removable. If you do order from the US, be aware that you basically keep it no matter what. I know that someone else warned of that, but I thought I had my bases covered by trying on one the same size first. That didn't work out well for me, but it is still a good idea. Was looking for a perfect shoe for travel; one that's up for lots of walking, yet stylish. Oh, and a heel. At 5-0, I don't like to wear flats...ever! After endless research, I found this brand. It's highly recommended for a stylish travel shoe. The brand is kinda funky and functional, which i like. Everyone else must, too, as the pair I really wanted was sold out on several sites. Anyway, I ordered the Yip Boot, and hoped for the best. At $200 this shoe should be perfect, right? Well, since Fly London does not seem to carry any half sizes, it's a gamble. I wear a 6, and I ordered the 36 (5.5) It fit, but was not secure enough in the back heel area, so it slipped up and down. And, remember...I'm a 6. These were 5.5....and still slipped. The look was cute. I loved the quality of the shoe, and the suede black was a nice color. The heel was attractive and I felt steady on my feet, whcih is important in a travel shoe. I returned this shoe, but may try another style in the future. They really do have some fun styles, but at this price, there should be more sizing options. Thankfully, amazon has such a wonderful return policy, which makes shoe shopping rather fun from my sofa.I’m not sure now sizes are subjective but these are one size too small though they are labeled correctly. They are made in Portugal so not fakes but just too small. Buy one size up unless you plan to wear them with dry thin socks or barefoot.Started with a new job that required standing for long periods of time 8-10 hours and these are just the best shoes ever! I would definitely buy another pair when i need a new one!I loved these shoes and there are my first Fly London purchase. I did have to return for a larger size. I wear a 9 1/2 and I ordered down as others suggested. The 40 felt a little snug and my big toe felt as if it was rubbing against the top of the shoe. So I returned for the next size, 41, and they fit great. I wore them for a two week trip through Europe and they did well on the cobblestone streets, hills, and uneven sidewalks. They looked great with jeans, and the night we were walking through town for dinner, I put them on with black skinny dress pants and they looked and felt great. I would definitely buy from this brand again. They sell them at Nordstroms, but the price was better here. Would love to try more in different styles. They are pricey, but to have a walking vacation free of foot pain is worth it. Oh and I forgot to say I never put any water repellent on them and we got caught in the rain one day. I was worried they would be ruined, but in fact they water seemed to fall right off them. No problem at all!Although I ordered a nine 9 -9.5 2 it was I’m definitely just going toward size not too small but I love the shoeI have a suspicion these boots may not be the genuine article. They mark the floor something terrible so much so that it looks like a child has been scribbling with a crayon. My concern is that the sole will wear away more quickly if the build quality is sub-standard.I have owned the exact same pair of these boots, bought direct from Fly London a couple of years ago. The leather was soft and supple and the soles most definitely did not mark the floor like these ones recently purchased from Amazon. I am currently waiting to hear back from Amazon as to whether I can return them for a full refund as I have worn them - how else would I know they mark the floor!Purchase with caution. You might be better off going direct to Fly London and paying a little more direct from the manufacturer.I'm so disappointed.I ordered these boots for work as I am on my feet all day and need something comfortable. They are lovely to look at and very well made. However, the first day I wore them the soles of my feet were sore and I had actual blisters where they had rubbed around my ankles. I wore them again the next day with long socks to stop the ankle rubbing. However, they were still really uncomfortable. I dare say they would break in eventually but I dont want to damage my feet in the process.Disappointed.This is my second pair of Fly boots, and like the first they are very comfortable and come up true to size. I'm a size 4 and the 4 is a comfortable fit.If you are planning to get a pair, do keep an eye on the price. I initially paid £66.74 for these boots but a few weeks later saw they were £57.25 which was quite a saving, so I returned one pair for a full refund and ordered the cheaper boots. So, I love Fly London. This must be at least my 25th pair! I have found a brand which is stylish, gives me a bit of height, comfortable (I can go shopping in them all day) and fab quality. I know I can purchase a pair online and they will fit me like a glove. My husband can’t understand my obsession and why I need ‘another pair of the same boots’. Obviously, I need an array of colours and styles. He wouldn’t understand! The best thing for me is the wedge. I can’t wear heels to save my life, but these wedges are perfect. So comfortable that I could wear them all day, every day. They make me feel taller than my normal 5’5”, which I love. This pair, which I purchased recently and hid in my wardrobe... (why would I need new footwear at the moment, being stuck inside due to Covid?!) is a fabulous colour (an unusual slightly metallic bronze) and the price was a steal! Couldn’t help myself! Right, onto my next pair!Usually, with Fly the 6 is very snug and the 7 too big, I used the size guide and decided that even with my rather wide feet it was worth trying the 6 one last time. They fit me beautifully, not snug at all.I bought them at a reduced price. I notice that they are now back to being £110.00. Even though they are lovely boots I think that that is overpriced, hence 3 stars for value for money.
