I really like this door knob.My main reasons for liking it: a dark brown color, a working key hole, and it's solidly built.For *less than armature people* like myself: the door knob is inexpensive but you may need to drill proper holes out of the your door. For example, the diameter of my latch hole (the door latch is the cylindrical part that extends into the wall from the door) was about 3/4" diameter and this door knob requires a 1" door latch diameter. What I'm telling you is simple: **you may need to drill out the 1" latch hole diameter if your door originally had a smaller latch hole.** Experts on the matter may not need to worry, they know what they're doing better than I do. :-)We bought four of these for the basement and were pleasantly surprised when we saw how heavy and sturdy they are. Our contractor was impressed with the quality, especially for the price. He said they are all metal, no plastic pieces. I came back and purchased enough to redo every closet and bedroom/bathroom door in the house. They look great and work smoothly. Contractor said they were easy to install. (We paid full price for these - no discounts or freebies. We're just really pleased with them.)I really feel that amazon needs to do require a better description on what is included in this package. Crossed my fingers and ordered, hoping that it would be the full set. After getting the items in, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The quality of the levers are simply amazing. Not to mention looks much better than the old brass knobs that they replaced. Note: This item comes with everything that you need to replace the knobs, not just the levers. Part of the reason that I feel that Amazon needs a bit of clarification.Beware. The listing description (as of 12/11/2014) says this lockset uses the 5-pin Schlage cylinder (SC1). It does not. It uses a 5-pin Kwikset (KW1), and therefore cannot be keyed alike to an SC1 key.Lockset otherwise appears to be of good quality, and well worth the price. Hopefully Amazon will correct the item description (edit: 2/18/15 - Amazon has corrected the item description, and they processed the return painlessly as always. Updating to 4 stars [from 2].)I could not be happier with this purchase. I have installed many door knobs, etc. These were very easy to install, they function beautifully, they are well built, they are gorgeous, plus they are incredibly inexpensive. No need to look any further, these are the ones to buy.These are a steal at this price. I kept it because it was so cheap and if I returned it I would only get $3 back once I paid for shipping. other than the color, the handle is very nice.
